WHO DETERMINES THE NOMINEES
HOW DOES CMA AWARDS VOTING ACTUALLY WORK?
Just like the Oscars and Grammys, the CMA Awards are voted on by industry professional members of the Country Music Association – meaning every nominee and winner is chosen by 7,000+ peers in the industry. CMA Members include artists, songwriters, musicians, producers, publicists, touring crews, and other music professionals from around the world.
To be eligible, songs, albums, videos and other projects must have been released or reached peak prominence during the eligibility window. For this year’s awards, July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025 is the eligibility period.
