This success led to his debut album Jackpot, which also reached number two on the Billboard 200 and was certified multi-platinum. Chingy is notable for his distinctive Southern-inflected style and party-themed tracks. He continued to have success with albums like Powerballin’ (2004) and Hoodstar (2006), which included hits such as “Pullin’ Me Back” featuring Tyrese Gibson. Despite later albums seeing less commercial success, Chingy remains recognized for his early 2000s contributions to hip-hop and his unique voice in the rap scene.
