Earlier this week, CMA gathered the songwriting community at the 2026 CMA Triple Play Awards to celebrate the storytellers behind Country Music’s biggest hits. 16 songwriters were honored for achieving three No. 1 songs in just 12 months, alongside special moments recognizing Bart Herbison with the 2025 CMA Songwriter Advocate Award and Paul Overstreet with a heartfelt tribute by Summer, Chord, Harmony and Nash.

From surprise performances to powerful tributes, the evening was a meaningful celebration of creativity, legacy, and the art of songwriting.
